Get to know us

ACCSF was started in 2021 and is a ministry of the San Francisco Vietnamese Alliance Church.  We all come from different backgrounds and nationalities, but we all love and follow the same God.  We are all brothers and sisters in Christ.  

He is a pastor at Alliance Community Church (English Speaking) / Vietnamese Alliance Church (Vietnamese Speaking) in San Francisco. He has been serving with the Vietnamese District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance since 2001.  He has a BS in Psychology from UCSD and a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary.  He is happily married and has 3 children and 1 dog.  He enjoys spending time with the family, watching movies, playing board games, and building and driving RC cars.  

Hello there! We are the church board and serve our church and its members, ensuring the effective and faithful operation of the congregation. We help foster a thriving community of faith and support the spiritual growth and outreach of the church.

Hi there! We are the Audio/Visual team and we ensure every service and event runs smoothly from the behind the scenes and screens! From left to right are Pastor Andrew, Tom, and Kenneth.

Hello there! We are the events team and we facilitate and coordinate all seasonal events that happen throughout the year. Some of our biggest events are the Easter Egg Hunt in April, Vacation Bible School (VBS) in June, the Harvest Festival at the end of October, and the joint services that happen throughout the year.

Hello everyone! We are the outreach team and we work together to reach those in our community. Some ways we reach out to our community and do our part are through seasonal tracts that we give out, invitations to events we have at our church, and most importantly, the community clean-ups we have. These quarterly clean-ups are one of the ways we help give back to our community and through this, we get to know more about those around us.

Hi there! We are the refreshments team and take turns hosting the fellowship time after service. We provide lots of yummy food and create a warm and comfortable environment for those to fill their tummies and their hearts. We value this time where our church members can catch up and connect with one another.

Hello there! We are the social media team and post about upcoming events along with recaps. From camps to picnics to weekly updates, we strive to keep you updated with what is happening in and out of the church!

Hello there! We are the Sunday School teachers of ACCSF! We serve students ages 3–18, young adults, and adults. We also have a nursery open to parents with children ages 0 to 3. Ms. Carissa teaches the Primary Sunday School (Pre-K, T-K, and K), Ms. Sue teaches the Lower Sunday School (1st-5th), Ms. Kally teaches the Middle Sunday School (6th-8th), and Ms. Theony teaches the Upper Sunday School (9th-12th). We also have 2 adult Sunday school classes serving both English speakers led by Mr. Primo and Mr. Eugene and Spanish speakers led by Mr. Antonio. And lastly, Pastor Andrew leads the college and career bible study for the young adults every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Hey there! We are the leadership team for the Young Adults and Youth Ministry! We created YAAY to help build stronger relationships with VACSF and ACCSF young adults and youth. In response to this, we have outings and various opportunities to bond and connect. Our priority is to build up our relationships with one another and, through this, help and guide those in their relationships with God.
